Free Employment-Readiness Education
Employment is the goal — not a general English class. In partnership with The Salvation Army, our free program helps people interpret Canadian job postings, recognize transferable experience, write truthful résumés and practise interviews.
Employment-focused English, résumé development, digital job applications, job posting analysis and interview preparation build the confidence and tools to navigate today's labour market.
Our work in practice
From recognizing personal strengths to reading a real job posting, our teaching connects participants’ existing experience with what employers need. English for Employment is employment-readiness education — not a general English class.
Current campaign
Our programs are powered by volunteers and community collaboration. Many participants face practical barriers to employment, including limited access to computers, online application tools and reliable transportation.

We bring together volunteers, educators, professionals and supporters to create accessible learning for individuals and families.
